WHO WE ARE

The Missouri Coalition for Historic Preservation and Economic Development is a large, diverse, statewide coalition of business leaders, developers, preservationists, labor groups, and private citizens. Initially, we formed to pass the Missouri Historic Tax Credit and the Rebuilding Communities Tax Credit programs. Currently, we exist to ensure the continued success of these programs.
 
Members represent urban, rural, and suburban interests across the state. Activities of the coalition are supported through direct financial contributions and in-kind support. Each year, the Fundraising Committee raises funds to finance a grass roots effort, including a lobbyist and communications staff as well as publish written materials and brochures, and to update the website.
 
There is NO membership fee or money required to join the Coalition and show your support for Missouri’s Historic Tax Credit and Rebuilding Communities Credit.
  

WHAT WE DO

The mission of the Missouri Coalition for Historic Preservation and Economic Development is to protect the Historic Tax Credit, Rebuilding Communities, and Neighborhood Preservation programs from revisions in the state legislature that lessen their impact, through targeted educational and lobbying efforts.
